Thank you! It is such a privilege to have readers as far flung as I now do and hope you're having a lovely time with Joanna back home for the holidays! She is missed but treated Lillian and I to a very nice quiche a couple of weeks ago xxx

Ha! Nice, you made me want to listen to them now. I am on the opposite spectrum, listening to any episode of Novara that’s led my Aaron but ignoring pretty much everything else. I am very ideologically inbred though, and on morally relativist, despite being on the left. Was the fertility test expensive?

Ooh, this is interesting! To be honest, I've not engaged as opposed to avoid so maybe that's on me. So, I spent £150 on an AMH test from London women's clinic. Last year I had gynaecological surgery so knew I'd had some recent v good quality ultrasounds and all the way through they asked me if I wanted children and never suggested I needed to be more or less cautious than anyone else. However, the test results are only presented to you as a point in a bar chart to get you to understand roughly where you are for someone of your age. It's not very talked through and I've misplaced that piece of paper (one for the December tidy!) — part of me thinks it would be worth actually talking to a clinician about it alongside the test.
